Essential session cookie
ingenious_session keeps your authenticated or guest session connected to the server and protects account continuity. It is HttpOnly, uses SameSite=Lax and is Secure when served over HTTPS. Its maximum age is 14 days.
The session can contain eligibility completion, a guest-session identifier and a temporary Google sign-in handshake. It is necessary for the functions you request.
Request protection
ingenious_csrf protects forms and state-changing requests against cross-site request forgery. Its lifetime is up to one year. It does not provide advertising tracking.
Refusing optional categories does not disable essential account and security cookies. Browser deletion of essential cookies can sign you out or disconnect a guest balance.
Your consent record
ingenious_consent stores a versioned choice for up to 180 days. Cookie Preferences lets you revise or withdraw it at any time. Optional categories begin off.
A saved preference produces a visible confirmation. Necessary security storage is explained, rather than presented as an optional switch that would break account access.
Game recovery storage
A game may keep an interrupted action reference in sessionStorage under an Ingenious-specific key until recovery completes or the tab session ends. This preserves request identity; it never supplies the authoritative result or award.
Sound, saved-game and account appearance preferences use their declared account or session state. They do not alter game outcomes.
Optional measurement
When Analytics is enabled, the Google tag is present with denied storage defaults before a choice. Measurement and optional storage remain controlled by consent; private routes stay unmeasured.
You can choose essential-only use or allow Analytics in Cookie Preferences. Current controls reflect the services actually enabled for this product.
Managing your choices
Open Cookie Preferences from any footer. You may also delete cookies using your browser, which can remove saved consent and sessions.
Questions about storage or privacy can be sent through Support or to hello@ingeniousonline.com.
